Almost 2 years ago i ordered a Moonsound. It came with a cd-rom containing tools and games. Nice games! But when i copied the two games mentioned above to my Sunrise CF and start one of the games it gives "Out of memory". Well that's a great disappointment because i really want to play these games with the Moonsound music. It doesn't matter whether i start it from Basic or MSX-dos.

Anyone got a clue?

Do you use a 128kB MSX? With DOS2 it probably needs just a bit (32kB) more. Try adding an external mapper or something, or use an MSX with more RAM.

I have the slightest feeling that the memory of 1280 exists of two parts an internal mapper of 256 and an external of 1024 , right
Try to remove first the external mapper. If this doesnot help most certainly the files are corrupted, and sent me in that case a mail.

It should work, even with all extensions plugged in. Save for the Moonsound, I've got roughly the same setup; ST w/ 256+1024, ATA-IDE w/ 4.3GB HDD, CDROM.

Yes I use the internal 256 with a 1024 external mapper. Removing the external mapper doesn't help. I will copy the files again from the cd-rom which came with the moonsound. If it doesn't work again then I will send you an e-mail Sunrise. Thanks for offering help.

Some more information on the hardware I use:

- Gouda slotexpander
- FAT 16 partition

Maybe the FAT16 driver is somehow in the way?

Hmm on a FAT 12 partition i have the same error. I always get the error after the Sunrise splash screen is shown.

Do you run any TSRs - Disk cache, RAM disk, stuff like that? (Just a very wild guess)

W76NearDark: I just checked your problem with the BombaMan CD (it too holds the disk images of The Lost World), and these have the same problem! My originals don't have that behavior. So the disk images of that CD need an update too!
