I have been searching for a while.
Actually it took me a few months trying to remember the name of this game.
Well I have had no luck in finding a copy of badlands anywhere.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about "BADLANDS" - the laserdisc game made by Konami and available on the Japanese Pioneer line of MSX computers ?
Or about that futuristic version of Super Sprint made by Atari ?

Well, if you are willing to buy the MSX version of that game be prepared to spend a lot of money, because in addition to the lasergame itself in order to play that game you'll need all the stuff described in this article:

If you want to play Badlands again, and don't mind about playing the arcade version on your PC/Mac rather than the MSX version, you'll be probably glad to hear that the DAPHNE emulator actually supports it (but the emulation of that game still have some problems). You can download DAPHNE from this website:

Isn't it a nice idea to support a (virtual) laserdisc player in a msx emulator? Is it possible to make some kind of image from a laserdisc game?

Thanks for the info cesco, yeah I would prefer to utilise the emulator which by chance I have already downloaded in my never ending struggle to find the game.
Any ideas as to where I can source the arcade version?
Thanks for all your help by the way

Did Sega Mega CD have a version of this game? I thought I saw some reference to a Sega version while searching for a copy?
