There is a margin in an ordinary monitor.
Even when the output of OCM is somewhat unusual, the monitor side absorbs.
But, it seems that the monitor which I use has few margins.
There are two problems in the output of OCM.
(1) The width of H-SYNC is narrow.
A monitor with few margins cannot recognize a horizontal position correctly.
(2) DE1 has a late clock.
OCM is operating at 21.477MHz.
DE1 is operating at 20.925MHz.
Therefore, in DE1, it is set to VGA-58Hz and the monitor which cannot display comes out.

| HRA, I do normally connect OCM to RGB monitor/TV with a cable converting from DB9 to SCART. This cable works in some TVs but not in other ones. I thought it was related to volts in the pinout of OCM since some TVs are more sensitive to this.

I've seen his before. Tested over several RGB monitors, the OCM still refuses to display in one of them; no matter what kind of tricks I use, this one (an Amper exelvision) always shows the screen rolling vertically |

Very good news, HRA!!
I'll test it to see if I find something incorrect which I don't think so. :-)

!!! WARNING !!!
Latest emsx_top.pld (20080525 for OCM board) have all "...FF FF FF FF..." chars at the end of file.
I think that this PLD is not a valid file to use with PLDLOAD.COM why normally it have all "...00 00 00 00...".
Therefore, you do not load it if you do not have a ByteBlaster2 in order to recover OCM!!!
HRA!, do you confirm it?

Now, it checked again. (PLDLOAD EMSX_TOP.PLD)
It started.
caro's "Compression BIOS (MSX2+ compatible)" is adopted.
Therefore, the dumping result of EMSX_TOP.PLD differs from before.
Although starting is somewhat slow, it will start, if it is waiting patiently.
If you want to make starting quick, BIOS will be put into SD card.

ByteBlaster2 can be made easily.

The cause of the voice noise of DE1 was found.
I checked that corrected and a noise was lost
It releases, after testing to a slight degree

According to sources PLDLOAD, it does not control the content PLD-file.

Audio timing bugs:
- Space Manbow: music of intro demo is cutted at the end.
- Laydock2: sound of space ships on previous demo at 1st level it is strange.

Wow, cool! Thanks for supporting DE1, Mr. HRA! I love that board so much. Do you have instructions on how to build cartridge slots for DE1? I assume I just have to connect 50-pin connectors to pin headers on DE1.
