For the Dutch only. April 30th, that can only mean one thing: browsing for MSX on the free market! So, what did you spot and/or score today? ^_^

Nothing MSX related, unfortunately. And it has been like this for several years... I guess everyone already sold their MSX gear on eBay, Marktplaats, etc.

not realy MSX stuff this year only saw a Philips MSX datarecorder.
just boucht Parodius and Castlvania 2 (Vampire killer2?) for NES.
As Manuel said, most MSX will be sold on internet, it's hard to find MSX related stuff nowadays on a free market

Guess someone scraped the few MSX items from the free market in Groningen before I had the chance as well :/

Same here. But it's like this for some years already. I believe Wammes wrote about it recently in PC Active. Time has come the MSX computer becomes obsolete in regular attics. Everything has been dumped or is in the hands of collectors already.

Very true, stuff has been shifting... how often do you see atari 2600's or spectrums etc ?
Nowadays people sell their ps1 and stuff... generations shifting and indeed as latok says,
it either broke down or is in collector's hands

haha, what do you know well the atari must have sold well then back in the 80's hehe.
Another thing that might be worth a topic is which cities have gamestores selling 8 bit machines...
Enschede and Hengelo both have gameshop Twenthe, both ocassionally selling msx stuff,
along with other consoles like megadrives, nes, videopac, and more obscure stuff.
Does the msx community play some role there in supplying hardware, keeping people
updated about meetings etc ?
