Most games uses screen 2 on msx1. Are there games with good gfx that works on sc 1?

Lotus F3, m.a.z.e, Yahtzee are all screen 1. But whether these games have good gfx I'm not sure.

That's because i've never seen a lot of games working in screen 1 (I'm referring to the active MSX era), so in my mind comes the image of the sw houses of that era saying ' Screen 1 ? no thanks'.... |

Blagger is also in Screen 1....and IIRC the forthcoming Montezuma's Revenge will be screen 1 too |

Thinking about the old days, none of these games have soooooo stunning gfx.... however.

(Theseus is screen 2)
Screen 1 isn't that bad, it allows fast updating.. and indeed, many old MSX games graphics aren't that stunning, eg. Zanac could be screen 1 with some small modifications (like "red eye correction" ) |

Actually, Lotus F3 in-game is screen 1 (reduced mode), screen 2 (regular msx1) and screen 4 (msx2). But the default configuration for msx 1 is screen 1. The visual difference is the amount of colours in the status area of the in-game screen.

Ok, here are some (I checked all/most of my msx roms except 32kB roms):
- Alcazar
- Aquattack
- Blockade Runner
- Break Out
- Butamaru Pants
- Comet Tail
- Dragon Attack
- Front Line
- Gokiburi Daisakusen - Bug Bomb
- Gozira 3D
- Heli Tank
- King & Balloon
- Mobile Suit Gundam
- MSX Baseball 1
- MSX Soccer
- Ninja Kun
- Pac-Man
- Pai Panic
- Pass Ball
- Peetan
- Rally-X
- Soukoban
- Space Trouble
- Squish'em
- Step Up
- Super Billiards
- Super Snake
- Tank Battalion
- Ultraman
- Warp Warp
Several of these are Hal games, so I just became a big Hal fan
*EDIT* I only checked games that I could get to game play in less than three seconds with fast forward emulation, so games with tricky menus or long boot times are not tested.
Semi off topic: and here is the screen 3 games I've encountered:
