Ok, what about the graphics ? Did they have 16 colors editors and later manipulated the images, or was it all in asm too ? Something like: Out "black point on address 154:215" ?

Then use make or an equivalent. Even a simple batch file that does asm thesource.asm thegame.com

rm thedisk.dsk
wrdsk thedisk.dsk thegame.com autoexec.bat msxdos.sys command.com
openmsx -machine msx2 -diska thedisk.dsk
goto :theEnd
:debug

:theEnd takes away much of your pain...
