How crowdy are such signing sessions anyway?

@wolf_: I know there is a post but now the official date & time is available... a unique change to sign your MSX products..

@Latok: The real hardcore gamer will go to a'dam so I'll gues 500 till 1000 visitors?? It will probably be a few hours waiting before you can get a autograph from the master himself!!

evul: if something is 'news', better use the newssubmit rather than the forum.

wolf: why? I don't think anyone would mind reading it in the MRC forum first and afterwards in a frontpage newsposting

We prefer news-reactions in the news (the frontpage) rather than in a forum. Otherwise you potentially get reactions at both places, which is rather messy. I actually remember ppl replying 2x during the announcement of the mp3 player, once on the frontpage, once in the forum, which looked totally ridiculous.. I mean, food belongs in the fridge rather than in a CD-wallet, right? ^_^ The right things at the right place..

I don't mind.. will use the newssubmit in future times.. but I like the forum more than the reactions that comes with a newspost!!

But back to the topic: are there Dutch (MSX) freaks who will go to A'dam?? I have to work on Saturday 7th of June! Hopefully I can get postpone that day @ work!

Well, at least I'm gonna give it a try. Even if it's only to have a look at the frenzy

Excellent idea Latok.. MSX lives a lot in Holland... I think Hideo will see less MSX in London where he also gives a session!

Those spoilt newsposters nowadays. They can simply check their own forum and post it on the frontpage, tssssssss. In my days snout had to crawl all those sites himself and surprise the MRC visitors with a frontpage newsposting about it

So? why not make the system then in a way that newsposts automatically create a topic in the forum? And that the 'news-
responses are in fact just forum replies..

Not all newsposts automatically create reactions (small news items which occur at regular intervals or which aren't interesting otherwise), why waste forumspace (empty threads) with such newsposts? Why not simply keep news and its reactions on the frontpage -which was made for news in the first place!- ?
