It´s possible - during the 80´s/90´s Ademir Carchano used to sell some (very expensive at the time) cartridges that turned MSX1 into MSX2/2+ with FM. So, possible it is.
On MSXPró there´s even a how to on how to transform a 80 column cartridge from Gradiente into an MSX2 cartridge |

I have the NEOS two cartridge set for turning MSX to MSX2. And it was cheap to buy. But it's carts only, and the auction above is for a full set, including box and manuals, so it's probably much more valuable for collectors.

I never tested it extensively, I just checked that it works and shelved it. I'll see if I can find it.

Whoa. I've never seen a Toshiba like this one. Exactly what model is this? (nevermind HX-34, didn't notice)
Me like the dual disk drives. |
