ask to Gilberto if testing on a Turbo-R
Test with Philips computer NMS8245.
The slotexpander run well with the following hardware components
if it's inserted in the indicated slot:
Insert the G.DOS slotexpander in the slot 1 of the NMS8245.
- 2Mb ram esterna (Gouda) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
- FMPAK cartridge (Gouda) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
- Music Module (Philips) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
- MoonSound OPL4 (Henrik Gilvad) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
- SCANNER cartridge (Gouda) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
- IDE (Henrik Gilvad) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
- Game Cartridge (Hyper Sport, Mouser) in the slot n.0, 1, 2, 3
The G.DOS slotexpander can be run with the clock to 7Mhz too.
But, ATTENTON, because some cartridges don't accept this frequency.

i cant help you with the G.DOS expander but i can tell you its not a CF-IDE cartridge fault since i have a slotexpander too (gouda) and the CF interface works perfectly

Is it working with your CF on slot1 or slot2 of your turbo-R, with the slotexpander on the other slot ?

yep that is working so the CF is not the problem anymore.
Now I have to get a 512Kb memory mapper (GOUDA) + SCC Cardridge (Nemesis2) + Philips Music Module working, but the Music Module is giving me a hard time.
