I have made a map of the first levels of Chaos Begins:
And here you can download a hi-res version of that map.
Now, the main problems are:
- How do you open the purple door in the bottom-right corner ?
- How do you open the two golden doors, pick up the treasure and convince Hephaestus to help you ?

Even I was able to pass level 1. It is not that difficult! The following get a bit more tangled

The Map it´s only for the Zineus Castle, it´s not complete. And still a Chaos, because you don´t put wich are the items hidden inside the boxes.

Er... this is probably caused because I'm getting too old for games... but the first level of Caos Begins is already freaking hard for me 
What do I have to do with the rusty key? It's not opening the purple door nor the other Hephaestus doors |

Take into account that you have to activate the item to see its effects. Are you pressing F1, then selecting the rusty key with SPACE and then F1 again? For an item to be useable it has to appear at the bottom of the screen. The same is for weapons, but with F2.
