What about something like this: The guard says: "Our animals are dying lately. We are desperate! To protect our reputation, we are secretly buying new ones."

Btw: I feel 'guard' is a bit weird/off.. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to translate 'bewaker' by something like '(zoo) keeper'?

edit: instead of 'replacement animals' use 'new animals'.

Agreeing: 'desperate' instead of 'hopeless' seems more fitting.

'ofcourse' (it's: 'of course' btw) can be left out, unnecessary .

I have some final suggestions (and corrections), will post this evening.
Saw some differences between TheKid text and gdx text, latter takes precedence right?

Ok, complete spreadsheet.

First column is 'Status':

c - changed (small(er))
C - Changed (big(ger))
d - difference kid <> gdx
? - more investigation needed?

Where Status is empty, I made no change.

I gave the text found in gdx latest file precedence.
As much possible I commented the changes/suggestions.

If anyone has feedback/comments on stuff, please do (state the 'line' pls ;))

That syntax was already there, but I'm not adverse to it (I like it in a way), do you think it's incorrect?

My file just serves to show you the format of texts. Some sentences are spread over several lines for example.

Okay, missed that one Like manuel suggested, change replacement animals in "new animals".
