Labyrinth gets an english fan translation

Master of fantranslations, DJANGO is working on another great game.
It is Pack-Im-Video's Labyrinth, a MSX 2 game that shines with nice graphics.
In the near future it will also be playable for unfamiliar Japanese people, DJANGO tells us on his blog.
Let's take a first look at the work DJANGO presents to us here:

This game was popular when it was released in Japan. I never understood why.

Thanks Django. Always good to see translations.
I noticed the opening text is not fully translated in the download rom but is in your video. From the news post it seems to be a work in progress. Looks good so far.

Also grabbed that Tritorn II: Road of Darkness. Sein/Xain have released some of my favorite games.

On a European MSX2 I see à instead of spaces in the intro texts... it works fine on a turboR though.

To view the texts correctly, you must select the emulation MSX2+ or MSX2 japanese

DJANGO: this was not about the wrong mapper type. The diference was in the used MSX (European or Japanese). In both cases the ASCII8 mapper was used. Try it on a Philips NMS 8250 for instance.

It's interesting to note the MSX Labyrinth is a port from the English c64 version with significant differences but same story. So it's a back-translation.
