I'm working on a level editor for Skooter. So far it can display all the sheets, a GUI and it's possible to start playing from any sheet from the editor and exit the game to go back to the editor.
It's fine with me if you want to put an announcement about it on the website.
That is very cool Arjan. Skooter is a very nice game and the puzzle action is very nice. So could be very nice to be able to make new levels. Hopefully there will be a way to add new sayings in the beginning of new levels too
I will put an announcement for it online.
@MsxKun: do you want me to put announcement for the editor for Godzillakun you talked about earlier in the forum?
Sadly, the link for the disk that contains the levels for Godzilla Kun is broken...
Thanks for letting me know. It is fixed.
I've completed the level editor for Skooter. You can download it from the link below:

Great work Arjan; it looks very nice and intuitive. And a great game to make an editor for! It is also put up on the contest page with a link to your Github page. Looking forward to make some levels for one of my childhood favorites.
Besides that an Tiled plug in editor for creating levels for Yazzie Remastered has been created by FRS. You can also download it on the website. The previous way to load levels for Yazzie Remastered required amongst other things the use of bash scripts. This version is more user friendly.
Thanks Randam!
I already improved some things in Skooted, it's now possible to use the ROM-image of the Skooter version published by Pony Canyon. I'm also working on compatibility with the Al Alamiah versions. There will probably a new release in a couple of days.
Thanks for letting me know Arjan. I will update the file and will keep a look out for the future one... I can see you put a lot of effort in.
I've created a new release for the latest version:
https://github.com/abekermsx/skooted/releases/tag/v1.1
The versions of Skooter released by Al Alamiah won't be supported. These cartridges require 64KB RAM to be able to run the game because they copy the ROM to RAM using something that looks like an RLE compression scheme. The efforts needed to make these versions work with Skooted aren't worth it.
The Skooted version released by Pony Canyon also requires 64KB RAM and also copies the whole ROM to RAM but it's just using a simple memory transfer so that was easy to add support for.
Oh wow that was fast how quickly you expanded the support for those other version. I will make an update for the Skooted entry!
If people are at Nijmegen and are interested, they can have a look at the entries so far or even have a go at making some levels there and then. So be sure to check it out if you feel like it.
