v0.331 of the SjASM the cross assembler, which supports Z80, runs on PC and has had some bugs fixed since the latest version and also it's now possible to use nested macro's.

MSX in Japan 2003

We have just added an interesting story and photo shoot to our website. Guest-writer Remco van Nunen decided to share his experiences of his recent trip to Japan. Pentarou 0.2 Beta 1 is a platform-independant Universal Instant Messenger (like Trillian) written in JAVA. Although this software cannot be categorized as MSX software yet, the developers of this messenger sure like the MSX system. As a token of their appreciation the Penguin Logo is added to this "Pentarou" release.

After the server at went down, Hans Otten decided to move his MSX Info pages to his private webspace on june 29.

The MT-32 emulator we reported about earlier has been updated once again. According to the developer this version is almost final, as there are little things left to improve. On sourceforge a project has started to port this emulator to Linux.

The webmasters of MSX posse let us know in this forum thread that they've redesigned their website. Apart from the forums, they've added a news section, links, a calendar, links to chatrooms and mailinglists and more

openMSX Catapult is a launcher (based on the Qt GUI toolkit) for openMSX 0.3.0 and higher. The first version was available in June 2003.
