In a previous posting we reported about the success of the ASCII MSX Magazine 2003 and the 'Happy!! MSX Emulator and Games' magazine, published by Shuwa System Corporation.Kuniji Ikeda lets us know that the last mentioned magazine can be ordered through him. Price of the Happy!!
Falcom free midi downloads
Falcom offers quite a large collection of MIDI files for download at their website. MIDI's that are available are, amongst others, from YS eternal and Sorcerian. You may download the MIDI's at the Falcom MIDI downloads site.
Xanadu, the well-known MSX game by Falcom, is available for Bothtec 501i mobile phones. The game can be downloaded freely to the phone. Gamespot Japan shows some nice screenshots of the mobile phone version of Xanadu.
On January 22nd, one month after the release of MSX Magazine 2003, a second print of this magazine will be released. Several sources confirmed us that the first print consisted out of 25.000 magazines. We have reasons to assume that the second print will consits of 25.000 magazines as well.
fMSXCE 0.10
A new version of the fMSX port for Windows CE computers was released today. With this emulator it is possible to run many MSX games on portable devices.
The 13th lineup of retro software is being sold by EGG. Game titles from PC-88, PC-8901 and of course MSX are available for Windows PC's. This time the MSX titles are (amongst others) Afterdark MSX2 , Xak - Rising of The Redmoon (also MSX2+), Palamedes and MSX dB-SOFT.

The English version of the Snatcher translation was updated once again. This time it is possible to finish the entire game (probably), and more menus were translated.
