Stage 1 is quite easy... Just don't touch your MSX and you'll be fine Big smile

Even with other difficulty settings? I think what really sets this 'homebrew' game apart from others is the highly impressive difficulty system. That and the amount of directions bullets can go in. Wink

That's where I've been failing to make much progress. I've been moving around and shooting far too much. Big smile

If the DSK is good (haven't checked) just like any other game.

Edit:
Just tested, and yes, just like any other game... Drag and drop the DSK and switch on the emulated MSX.

It BlueMSX doesn't allow me to insert the DKS as they aren't ROM's and it sais "Could not locate rom or zip in the archive," when I drag and drop and turn emulation on it just does the typical MSX blue screen startup. Thank you for you help thusfar though, I am very new.

There are 3 DSK in this ZIP file. On my system, no any problem. Maybe are you trying to insert the ZIP file in a cartridge slot ? It can't work. You should better read the included manual (Menu Help / Help Topics) or his online version : http://www.msxblue.com/manual

As you can't use blueMSX (you are under Linux), your answer is relatively not serious. The problem is not the DSK, but the fact that the end-user wants to use the DSK as a ROM and has not even thought to unzip the ZIP file.

Hey mister. I installed blueMSX on my Windows computer and dragged disk 1 out of the zip into an idle blueMSX and turned it on.
My linux machine has nothing to do with this. Evil

Sorry, I've misunderstood your answer. So, as our both tests with blueMSX for this game are positive, it proves definitely that the end-user does not makes the difference between a ROM and a DSK. The message it mentions appears only if you try to insert a ZIP with DSK in a cartridge slot.

Do not drag the file from the zip - it won't work. Drag the zip itself to BlueMSX. It will ask which of the dsk files inside the archive to run.
