Whilst browsing the web we bumped into this interesting project from aorante, a member of the 303bcn group. He is currently developing a sound editor for the AY-3-8910 soundchip that we have all come to know and love as the Programmable Sound Generator (PSG). Although there is no code available on Google Code yet, there is some footage of a beta version available right here on YouTube, which reveals a decent feature set and nicely designed GUI, which already allows you to use 3 self-made PSG sounds as a simple drum computer.
The goal of the project is to gather enough experience in order to develop a complete PSG tracker later on, so this certainly is one of the MSX projects to keep an eye on!
