I have a first generation flashscc512K in slot 2 which works with OPF.COM. This cartridge is not found anymore, so if I want to flash that one I have to insert my CF interface.

I have tested it in a turbo R ST on both slots and works fine.
MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD in slot 1/2 and MegaFlashROM SCC in slot 1/2
OPF MGEAR2.ROM
The game is flashed on the old MegaFlashROM SCC

What is your configuration?

I have several issues with browsing partitions in a sdcard (with mm or from the shell)

- if I create big partitions (1Gb), when switching in the shell to the unit they are mapped to it takes so long to show
the amount of free disk space that it seems as if the computer was blocked.

The installed MM does not calculate disk space. A 4GB partition is shown in a second.
On DOS it takes a while to calculate the disk space.

- I see some garbage when browsing the partitions with mm (ghost files) but I am not sure is not a problem of how
I copy the files. I partition the sdcard in the msx using call fdisk then copy the files using a mac.

I think MultiMente has a limit of 240-250 files per directory.

My configuration is:
Panasonic FS-A1WX with 256kB internal
Megaflashrom scc+ sd in slot 1
Megaflashromscc512 (with switch in original Konami case) in slot 2

At the moment there's a game on it and it runs fine if it's switched on.

I use opf 0.78

I can't find my SD carts in DOS(nextor) or MM, but in _fdisk in basic the sd's are visible and I can create partitions and Write them (I have on bothe SD's only 1 partition)
my MSX2 (NMS8280) is turned into a MSX2+ with 2Mb ram.
If i'am using the mapdrv i'ts showing only errors or my diskdrives are turning
On a "normal" MSX2 it works fine with the standard file SD2TOC.bat
how must I use the MAPDRV
If I put the cart in slot 1 is my MFRSCC in slot 1-3 but how can i see where my SD's are in fdisk is the first SD ID=2
and the second ID=3
In the second slot 2-3 and ID=2 and 3
Can the cart work on my MSX2+ and if it works how must I use MAPDRV (c: and dSmile

@meits: I also used OPF 0.78 and MegaFlashROMSCC 512K (with switch)

@Latok:
Actual Nextor versión can be disabled by pressing SHIFT, but that will also disable floppy diskdrive.
So, you can erase Nextor kernel or remove the cartridge from its slot.

Current WIP Nextor version lets you to disable its kernels selecting the desired slot.

@marcoo: I don't fully understand your problem.
To mount in C: partition 1 of SD 2 with cartridge in slot 1: MAPDRV C: 1-0 3 1-3
To mount in C: partition 1 of SD 2 with cartridge in slot 2: MAPDRV C: 1-0 3 2-3

You should have ROM disk in A: a SD1 partition 1 in B:

So booting from floppydisk is not possible atm. Thank you for your answer. Hopefully next nextor version will be released soon, because for me, this is a major issue.

@meits: I'll try to test it on a Panasonic 2+. Have you tried to use /Fxx option? Do you get a MegaflashROM SCC not found error?

@Latok: As a quick and dirty fix, you can install a dummy DSK (i.e.: OPFXSD scobra.rom /D1) and hold RETURN key while booting. Then, your floppy diskdrive should boot.

Does the /Txx option finally work for you?
