Guillian: I tried the /Fxx option before I reported this...
@Meits: and what is the error you get?
Oops! MegaFlashRom not found!!
after executing opf a1spirit.rom /f2
@marcoo: I don't fully understand your problem.
To mount in C: partition 1 of SD 2 with cartridge in slot 1: MAPDRV C: 1-0 3 1-3
To mount in C: partition 1 of SD 2 with cartridge in slot 2: MAPDRV C: 1-0 3 2-3
Thanks Guillian I needed that
I Was Thinking the Wrongway how mapdrv works
Now I understand it and it works great now
Tested on a A1 WX 512K RAM. Works fine.
OPF MGEAR2.ROM
MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD in slot 1
MegaFlashROM SCC 512K in slot 2
I get: Flash SCC 512 Found in slot: 2 subslot: 0
And then the ROM is flashed
Must be something about my 512kB version then... It's not one made by you...
BTW, I'm testing Dragon Slayer 6 on the WX and I get sound (at least in the intro)
@Guillian: I know you are very busy answering ALL of our questions we got about the Mega Flash ROM SCC+ SD... If you got spare time left , is there a possibillity you can take a look at the 'hanging' problem I mentioned with the diskgames 'Dahku' and 'Shrines of Enigma'? [page 1 of this forum topic, entry 6] - Thankx in advance!
Respect! The Mega Flash ROM SCC+ SD rulez!
I have downloaded Dahku from MRC. I have played until level 3. Where do you have problems?
Do you have any other disk interfaces connected to your MSX?
Have you tried holding "D" key while booting the game?
I'm testing on turbo R ST 512K
Edit: I'm also using the latest version of OPFXSD and DSKROM I updated them a week ago or so.
updating DSKROM.ROM worked for me... Dahku doesn't 'hang' anymore - thanks!
