ki.va plus.dsk playable game ?

Hi,
I found a interesting msx game but its broken on internet.
There is address nitroroms or something.. there it was broken file. files comes only msx start screen and horrible noise on speakers.
Game name is Kings Valley Plus . :
so where i can have this game so it can be played too ?

that version i found on the internet was broken somekind.

It's just King's Valley with a level editor, originally found on Konami Game Collection 1.

hi,
Itried this but comes problem. two things :
1 : only blue load screen and nothing more so msx tr hangs.. not pause light but next light to right that pause light msx tr gt light with japan text which is next right to pause light is on.. with. KGC1.rom file and mfr 2 with sd card.
dos command opfxsd KGC1.rom/x not work with.KGC1.rom file

2: i got error message : syntax error in 240 i took a list list 240 enter igot RUN"kingval.bas"
and doesnt work after that. i got blue screen again and nothing happends ..
so there is some bug in here with that game .. or my TR GT is broken.

Have you tried the .dsk file? It should work. Even if you start in turbo mode and run"kingvall.bas" it should work.

It could be that that rom file doesn't work with the program on your sd card. The LED to the right of the pause LED is the Turbo Mode LED. If that is on it is in R800 mode. Sometimes when a program hangs that LED lights up.

how i can start it with a turbo mode ? my msx tr gt is new for me and i do not know that turbo mode on it?
i tried both ways rom and dsk too..
if i remember right. that errpr in 2240 comes just in with kgc1.dsk mode.
i try to load it at opfxsd kgc1.dsk/x
it start yes but then apperars that syntax error in 240 as i told.

OK so the light is turbo mode ok .. then it is on most of my msx games..
some works or some not.. this kgc1.dsk dont work with that light is on .

so that .dsk file is 737 kb so its not fit in diskette so.. only sd card...

do i have to change drive a to drive c that sd card.. ??

hi,
sorry my mistake. i did look wrong that .dsk error message. its not syntax error in 240 BUT its File not found in 240
so there is not kingvall.bas - file in there. list 240 tells to me that RUN"kingvall.bas" , but loader cannot find it. cause error is file not found in 240

Mika,

Do you realize that this "King's Valley Plus" is nothing more than just plain, old, normal King's Valley, only with a level editor?

Unless you really, really want to create your own levels for King's Valley, you are wasting your time on trying to make a game run which you could perfectly play using a standard version.

oh. Im looking that kingsvalley which has got 60 pyramids not only 15.so i believe that this is it.
Thats why im looking this cause i like this game with 60 pyramids.

Mika is right about the 60 levels. The plus version has 60. After 15 you get a password and another 15 levels can be played. There are 4 passwords (and a special one which lets you start in level 59), which aren´t in the regular version either.
