Why is documented here: https://github.com/openMSX/openMSX/issues/1076

Very short summary: a normalized WAV file is both identical for the same game, easily compressed and usable on real MSX directly.

For the moment, I have converted the .TSX files to .WAV files to test them in OpenMSX.

I must say I really like the .TSX format: It's a lot smaller compared to the .WAV file and it contains a binary representation of the contents. You can just open it in a HEX editor and go through it. Very convenient!

Yep, i know this pull request.
Some people want It and you dont want It. Again, no problem.
Someone writes this in the pull:

c1) TSX is more reliable than WAV
c2) TSX allows to preserve a real mirror of the original Tape
c3) TSX is 'better suited' for preservation than WAV
c4) WAV is not a real preservation format
(many variations on the same thing)

There's a build of openmsx with support for tsx, there's other emulators that support tsx, there's hardware to load tsx on our belowed MSX...
But you prefer WAV when noone in the world use this format for preservation.
It's ok, we continue with our work and you (the openmsx team) with yours.
Long life and success for both.

At this point i never insist again on adding tsx support on openmsx. I'm tired of this.
Good luck to all people working on/for the MSX

I do like Grandslam's pricing policy back then:

Space Harrier II advertisement on Your Sinclair magazine (issue 50, February 1990)

ATARI ST & AMIGA £19.99
C64, SPECTRUM & AMSTRAD DISK £14.99
C64, SPECTRUM & AMSTRAD CASSETTE £9.99
MSX CASSETTE £8.99

£1 off for being a Speccy port. Great! :P :P :P

In 1990 It was very uncommon that a Uk company release a game for MSX, even being a port.
And i must say it's not a bad port. Is a bit slowly that the Speccy version but not like other ports i play
Teque makes a good work

Indeed. Btw, the release date is incorrectly informed on Generation MSX:

Pretty sure I have it on cassette.

The date printed on the tape is not the release date of the game.

The MSX version of CHASE H.Q. was also released in 1990 but on the tape does appear 1989 (wrongly informed too on Generation MSX).

Sorry Manuel, but that's not true... and that is not the summary of that link.
Take 2 tapes of the same game, and you will not obtain never the same WAV (normalized or not).

The summary is that you don't want to add TSX support to openMSX.
