Hi,

When I convert a more than 64K Cas game to WAV, as I see in openMSX, it loads it in stages, it loads some and starts the game, then loads more and start the level1.
In a real MSX setup, I have a laptop playing the WAV file to the MSX, how will the laptop stop the WAV, or should I stop it when I see the game is finished loading?? so that the game loads more afterwards...

Is what I said right??

Fully compatible MSX tape decks have a remote control connector, so the MSX can stop the tape at the right time. If you don't have that (e.g. on your laptop), you manually have to stop the 'tape' when the MSX is done loading, indeed.

Yes, and in a real machine with the BASIC's MOTOR ON/OFF command you can even hear the 'click' of the controlling relay Smile

Thank you guys, in the next days, you will see a huge collection of wav games converted from cas only for the MSX machines with weird memory layout like MSX AX-150, AX-200 and Victor HC-80...The ROMs will be included so that anyone can create wav games for the MSXes with normal memory layout ..

I'm glad I did! Great collections Smile
I'd be good to submit some material to archive.org for preservation.
