Mitsume Ga Tooru EN | RU - strange web site

I tryed the patches downloadable on the page below without success.

I tryed the both versions. None of them works. (SHA1=da0241ea7a44aad8c9ed4526f74034bb2d17a74c for the Russian version and SHA1=963f2d0a24bc57a018a5f958e3df17ab8e9ce9d4 for the other)
The Rom mapper used seems to be the Konami 4. The original is ASCII 8K

Hmm. Has anyone else had this trouble? This is the first I've heard of anyone not being able to patch the game, and honestly, I'm not very familiar with the technical side of things, so I'm not sure what the problem might be here. Can someone else who was able to successfully download and apply the patches -- assuming someone has! -- help figure out what might be going wrong here?

I'd be surprised, as the English patch alone has been downloaded over 80 times...

readme.txt tells you which file to use the patch on:
Mitsume ga Tooru. The Three-Eyed One Comes Here (1989)(Natsume)(jp).rom
CRC32: 4F70C1F9

That is the one from Tosec. I suspect it is a modified ROM and not the original dump. I think the one from GoodMSX is the correct dump.

I just tested the English patch myself from scratch, and it works fine for me. Here are the steps I took:

- I searched for the Japanese rom, and downloaded the first result that came up (which was from the website PlanetEmu).
- I downloaded the English patch from mitsumegatoo.ru.
- I applied the patch using Lunar IPS version 1.02 for Windows, which is... admittedly pretty old, but I happened to have it sitting around on my hard drive, so I figured I'd just give it a try.
- I dragged and dropped the resulting rom into BlueMSX version 2.8.2 (again, I happened to have it sitting around on my hard drive) to test it out, and it immediately loaded and played without issue. I didn't have to select a mapper type or anything -- I literally just dragged and dropped.

So I'm not sure where the complication is occurring on your end, gdx. What is your hardware setup? What are you using to test the game?

EDIT: Oh, I see your edit now. You were using the wrong version of the rom, I guess! If you just search for the game on PlanetEmu, you'll find the correct version there, at least. It's the one labeled "Mitsume ga Tooru. The Three-Eyed One Comes Here (1989)(Natsume)(jp)[a]."
