Missing red selector indicator bar in Moonblaster

I am having a lot of difficulty using Moonblaster on my Onechipmsx because all menus do not show a red selection indicator bar. I have used three different implementations of Moonblaster and they're all the same in regards to this problem. Switching monitors has not helped so it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue. Anyone guess what the problem/fix may be?

Hi romanoaj, if I recall correctly the original 1chipMSX firmware did not support the screen 0 “blink” mode properly which is used for the red selection indicator. There has been a lot of development on the 1chipMSX firmware over the past decade though, and this bug has long been fixed. If you upgrade to the latest KdL firmware for the 1chipMSX, it should work fine.

Brilliant mate! Works like a charm. (I've always been hesitant to update firmware due to bricking fears. Glad I'm over it!)

I'm sure that Grauw got the problem right, but just FYI that there is also this memory overflow bug in file menu. If the directory contains more MoonBlaster files than fits to screen the red indication bar may become invisible. This bug how ever affects only the file menu.
