My friend kiwimsx, I didn't insist on anything, I just asked if I would sell a keyboard and Mitsubishi card, you didn't want to sell it, so you didn't sell it and I don't understand what it has to do with the fact that the computer did not work from the first start, as you assured me. The housing is damaged in transport (or due to poor packing) but I do not regret it - well it happens.
I knew very well that he had a damaged floppy drive "B" and no keyboard, and I agreed to that, BUT THE REST WILL WORK. And here the computer stopped starting: the damaged power supply and disk drive "A" also died. And that's what I regret. After that, you don't reply to my e-mails, and I thought you were a nice man.

I purchased two machines from Francisco and had no issues dealing with him. Sure, language could be a barrier for some but as I do speak Spanish, no issues there. Also sometimes he takes time to reply to emails what is fine with me as many of us may have different schedules, different lives outside the retro stuff and so on but never had an email what was not answered/replied.
Finally we must all understand we are buying 30-40 years old hardware and no matter how great Japanese machines are, these may fail (or will certainly fail at one point). And certainly, transport from one country to another, being tossed inside trucks, airplanes, boats and so on does not help either. Good packaging does help but it is not 100% guaranteed. And on top of that, owners may not really know the full details on how good (or bad) the hardware they are selling is.
As an example of that, I got a Mitsubishi ML-G30 from SDSnatcher73 (Peter), someone I have dealt many times in the past, always with zero issues. The ML-G30 could not work with the GR8NET and once I started troubleshooting the issue with Eugeny (the GR8NET creator) we found one of the slots had a lot of damage and the cable from the slot to the mother board had two or three lines that were literally burned like charcoal. Should I blame Peter for that? Nope. He did not know about it and as the lines that were bad are power/GND, it did not affect most cartridges so he tested with some games and everything worked fine but once using a GR8NET that requires more power, we could see the problem. As I said sometimes the owners simply do not know the machine has some sort of issue and more than that a 30-year old machine that works today, may not work tomorrow. I think you just had bad luck, like I had with this ML-G30. No one to blame, it happens.
Peter told me you guys are getting the machine sorted out and repaired and I hope you get it back soon and fully working as it is a beautiful hardware.
Cheers.

Yes it’s true sometimes there are hidden flaws that only become apparent after more extensive use. I am hopeful the machine can be restored. I’ve had plenty power supply issues on Victor machines (mostly HC-5/HC-6/HC-60 though). Disk drives do fail and some types are more prone to failure than others. My HC-90 (which is inbound from Japan but somehow delayed the last 3 days overhere in the Netherlands) has also a non functional disk drive so it seems the drives used by Victor have some common failure point.
I also have and use GR8NET and have over a dozen MSX.
I was convinced that the computer would be operational ...
I am having an unpleasant experience for the second time.
The first time, I once asked if anyone had LaserDisc games for sale. And one colleague from Scandinavia came forward. But I didn't even have time to confirm the purchase as someone from the forum bought it for me. He didn't even ask me if I was quitting or buying. I wasn't setting up a topic for someone. I was treated in a rude way. This person did not have the courage to admit and apologize.
It was a few years ago, but the distaste is still there. Such a digression.
I will be repairing the computer. SDsnatcher73 offered to help me and I appreciate that.

Hi friend!
Have you already sent this cart Bee game? You promised you would send. So when to expect?
Good, here I leave the photos of the computer that Leonlas acquired. If you want, you can see in the metadata of the photos when they were taken, as indicated to the colleague, everything worked correctly before sending. Well, I would like the colleagues to whom the other teams, such as the Netherlands, Estonia, and France, who have told me that everything is fine and correct, thanking me, would have also expressed themselves. As Leonlas insists on leaving me in a bad place, for my part this thread can be closed. Thanks .
You sent pictures that it worked and that you packed. And I can send you photos that it arrived broken and did not want to work properly from the beginning. You just still haven't sent me what we agreed on. You still ignore my emails and don't reply back, that's why I'm posting on the forum. You can't afford a goodwill gesture and just send me a Bee game? Send me what we agreed on and that will be the end of the topic.
Regards!
