Thank you. I tried contacting him several times. No more response/answer/replies. I have no other option now but to seek legal action.

WOW!! I AM GLAD I READ what is happening here. I am not dealing with this guy at all. I hope he gets his commings.
According to Spanish law, if the seller has received payment, he has the obligation to deliver the object, if not, the law protects the buyer to request damages and losses that he considers, and the procedural expenses, which if you are abroad , the seller is going to cost a bundle because he has lost everything. I advise you to consult a lawyer, sometimes we would be surprised by the result. These ways of proceeding cannot happen, and less on a website as active as this one, cheers and greetings.
Any ideas on how to proceed regarding getting a lawyer in Spain? The seller had SIX MONTHS to address this and NEVER shipped the machines OR refunded the money paid (over 1500 Euro). My best option now is indeed to get a lawyer. Will cost me more money, sure, but will cost the seller a lot of money as well, not to mention all the legal hassle.
Thanks Maroca!

You can report an internet scam at the police website. Only in spanish, I'm afraid:

Oh thank you. That should not be a problem as I can read Spanish 100%. Thanks again!

Just reported the seller to the police and will be filing a claim in the small claims court in Spain this week with a lawyer. Really unfortunate but the seller, Francisco (KIWIMSX) refused to reply to any emails or text messages. I do hope others here learn about the seller and do not fall into the same trap, making the same mistake I made: trusting another member of the MSX community when purchasing from abroad. Many sellers are just amazing (Hi Peter) but not all are like that and can be trusted. Lesson learned.
