for testing I need a DIN8->RCA cable for Panasonic FS-A1mkII, does anyone have a schematic drawing? Maybe there is someone who sells such a cable?
Yes FS-A1mkII has already RCA plugs for composite video and mono audio. Just use those. The DIN8 is for RGB output, on pin 4 some computers have CVBS but I don’t think FS-A1mkII is one of them (this would lead to jailbars on RGB like FS-A1GT has).
If the RCA composite video out is not working it is most likely due to capacitor leakage on HIC1 board.
Guys, thx, i know, there is composite output, and it is ok, video and audio working well. I have DIN8->SCART cable, i want only "TEST" DIN8->RCA, not more, just this (as i wrote earlier, only test).
I bought the machine from you (sdsnatcher73), so there's nothing wrong with it, you did everything you could to make it work and it's in great condition.
Ah okay, good to hear. Well you can always try if pin 4 has composite video, pin 2 has audio and pin 1 is ground. If you check the page of the FS-A1mkII in the wiki you can click on the RGB output you will see a page with the complete pinout.
