I don't know wht the status is of Compas, but if it's like abandonware and someone has a copy: please feel free to mail it to me so it can be preseved and become available to the public.

Raymond got his personal copy of Compass last week.

Frankly, I'm surprised by the sudden uptick in interest for Compass. (Of course, it is the best IDE available if you only want to use an MSX for development , but who isn't cross compiling these days...)

Compass isn't made public yet, partly because we told the old Compjoetania in the 90's that we wouldn't (although +20 years later that's less of a valid point) but also because the demo version most people got from the MCCM CD is a fully functional version (tough a bit slow on turbo-R )

Also the 2.0 version that Jon was working on was/is already surpassing compass 1.2 but it needed a little bit of spit-and-polish before it could be released...

I'm gonna talk with Jon about this and see what we can do going forward...

Well, even if most of coders are cross compiling today, it is/was a great msx software and deserve to be preserved (and used, if someone want to...)
