The song originated from the bassline which was a little bit inspired by the bassline of Jean Michel Jarre's live performance of 4th Rendez vous at Concert Barcelona although I changed it so much you would probably not even recognise it.

Then I ad libbed the main melody and tried to combine it with some arpeggios in the same channel (as you can see in the oscilloscope view). I've known for a while that if I use a whole note before a short arpeggio followed by another whole note, the ears will not be fast enough to separate the melody from the arpeggio.

Then I just kindof went improvising with the rest of the melody. The video ends quite abruptly but that's because the song loops and begins again at the 1 minute mark.

By the way. I hope you can hear that the main melody is played each time with different chord progressions every time?

So there you go. My first attempt at making a song that SOUNDS like a gaming tune.
