Play MSX games on PiBoy

Hello,

I have received my PiBoy last week. It is a small handheld that runs on a Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB RAM. When I try to load MSX ROMs the PiBoy freezes. What I'm doing wrong? Do I using the wrong emulator? If so, how do I install a new emulator where I stay in the RetroPi software shell and can continue to operate the buttons of my PiBoy?

Which emulator is using to run the roms? Does it need any system roms to run in the configuration? Can you alter the software that is in the PiBoy?
