Can someone point me to some good settings for when rendering a video? Ive tried it numberous times over the years, I either get very low quality video or way too big file size. For example I just tried MS windows 1 and ffdshow and i got between 55 and 77MB video for a 27 second video.

In openmsx file sizes are a lot smaller, for example I have a 33 second video here that is only around 4MB, and that is already recorded at -doublesize

(Are you aware of the -triplesize option in openMSX btw? When uploaded to Youtube it plays back at 720p60 then, looks nice!)

Haven't felt the need to do that yet (I dont upload much MSX content on youtube and if i do its mostly trackers stuff that imho dont really need high quality :) ) but thanks I will give it a try sometimes.

@Syn: If you download and install the "K-Lite Codec Pack" (or other codec pack), you can choice in the menu of BlueMsx somes news formats with nice quality and best compression Smile
