Hello,
I have MSX DOS on a SD CARD but I cannot execute the "CD" command.
I realize CD is an alias for CHDIR. Is this a command that is not part of the MSX DOS native commands? Should I download it and copy it in my SD CARD? If so where can I find it online?

There are 2 (major) versions of MSX-DOS. Version 1 does not have directory support, version 2 does have directory support and the CD command is integrated into the COMMAND2.COM command processor.

MSX-DOS 2 requires 128kB RAM minimum, and your MSX1 doesn't have that...

Or some other options:
1. buy an MSX2 or higher with 128kB built in RAM (or more)
2. buy a RAM expansion cartridge that works on MSX1
3. buy another SD-card expansion, which includes RAM (like MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD with RAM or Carnivore 2).

With just MSX1 and no subdirs, the SD card thing is useless, as you can only store 112 files per partition....
