Hello,

I wonder who bought the cartridge Hamaraja Nights and whether they had any problems with the saved game. Listen to any comments on this, I am asking because I want to buy the game at Sunrise.

Thanks.

Any owners/developers of Hamaraja Nights out there who can shed some light on this? I haven't heard of any problems with save games, so as far as I'm concerned it's safe to place an order...

I own the cartridge and can confirm I have problems with save games, at least on the original cartridge. The saving functions seems to work (more or less, because the game hangs when you try to save a name on the hiscore table) when flashing the game into a MegaFlash ROM SCC+.

And I'm not the only one...

No one has played with your Hamaraja nights?

It seems very strange that no answer should be holidays.

Please, there is no Hamaraja team member who can say anything?

I think the problem is that quite some folks are not buying it again just for the cartridge and the box and the fact that it now has SCC music.
The disk version was released years befor, which might not have the scc music but does have MSX MUSIC support.

robertwilting: it has now MoonSound music, not SCC music.

Hmm strange my original disc copy allready says moonsound. So moonsound should not be the reason then, except if your a completist or if you want to have the first cartridge game that supports moonsound.

Also the disk says msx music & msx audio as well.

So next we get a cartridge version that offers SCC + Moonsound. (- minus the msx audio/msx music versions)
So the only new thing seems to me the SCC support. The nicer box and the fact that it's on cartridge with scc.

Another good reason. To buy the cartridge version would be to avoid a rotten disk.Evil
As I've just encountered. (It's probably cursed. Tongue )
Ohwell I should have it imaged somewhere but where ?
