A week ago I went to Akihabara, and wandering around the Electric Town area came across these vending machines. They are called gashapon and usually sell anime/manga related items, but these ones dispense microchips! As you can see from the pictures each machine collects a different part, ranging from several audio & video processor series to Z80 processors.
Of course I couldn't resist giving it a try, so now I am the proud owner of a spare NEC D780C-1! I'm looking for some simple project where I could use it, any suggestions?
