BSA - Back Slot Adapter (Yamaha CA-01 remake)

I am starting a new project - the adapter for the back slot of Yamaha CX5M computers and similar clones. These computers have only one slot and the adapter would be quite handy. Basically, it's a remake of Yamaha's CA-01 Single Slot Adaptor. If I remember correctly, I got a few requests for this device in the past.

So today I fully designed the case and the board for this adapter:

Are there any wishes from the community for this device? Can it be used with other machine beside CX5M and similar clones (Victor)? Also what's the use for the grooves on the bottom of the original adapter?

The device will be available in black with laser engraving (RBSC's logo + device name). As usual, there will be 10 devices produced, 9 or 8 available for sale for around 40-45 Euro. Then the project will become open-source and will be uploaded into the repository.

Hi Alexey, which grooves are you talking about? There is one indentation in the shape of a triangle noticeable on the outside (see second image on wiki). This indentation is to protect against incorrect insertion of a cartridge (it fits the triangle shape inside an MSX cartridge).

in the victor the connector is tinned roughly
so the adapter is not going to make good contacts

Depends on the slot connector. I use industrial grade slots, so this may still work.

The device is ready. I had to slightly redesign the case to ensure firm connection with the boards and I introduced the optional feet to keep the device in the horizontal position when it's inserted. Below are some pics:

The remaining 8 devices will be sold with or without case. The price without case is 15 Euro. The price with the case is 35 Euro. The shipment is 7.50 Euro to any country. Within Germany it's cheaper.

Please let me know who is willing to buy. The project will be released into the RBSC's repository later.
