What chip does it have? The picture is too blurry to see it. I've flashed a few Goteks with those smaller Artery chips successfully. There are 2 versions of the firmware, one for the legacy chips and one for the newer chips. Anyway, it's better to ask from the author directly:

Thank you for your response.
Apparently the chip text is chip AT32F415 KBU7-4.

What puzzles me is that the capacitor (?) which reads XDL8.0000 seems upside down from the original picture in this post.

Here´s a comparison between both boards. Maybe I should take that capacitor out and re-solder it in the right position?

The component marked with XDL8.0000 is a crystal clock generator, likely at 8MHz.

Well, I´ve managed to get this Gotek to work.

I´ve tried the first FlashFloppy update with support for this chip:

FlashFloppy Release v3.29
Support new Gotek board SFRKC30.AT2 using AT32F415KBU7-4 (QFN32)
Support LQFP64 AT32F415RxT7 chips on existing "Enhanced Gotek" boards
IMG: Fix default GAP2 for ED (eg. 2.88M) images
IMG.CFG: New parameter gap2= to set Post-ID Gap value

The weird thing is that previously I had used the versión 3.35 with no luck.

I´ve also changed the jumpers to mimic the position on the board on the left (just using J5).
My board came with one jumper on position J5 and JA, and moved the other from S1 to S0.

With that done, the board was fully functional!

Hope it helps to anyone with the same problem I had and thank you for your support!

Cheers!

Javier

PS: There was no need to re-solder the crystal, it worked as it was. :D

Many thanks for all your hard work. I have a problem after I have the DFU device screen showing all is ok, but there is no next button row at the bottom of the screen, so I can't proceed. Is there a fix for this?

Please post a picture of the first screen and also the picture of your Gotek's board.

We should update our forum so that kind of operation (image copy, paste, ...) is feasible.
I have been connected for several years to other forums where you can do that.

Thanks, I think I have found the problem. I am running win11, I tried this on my wife's win10 and it showed the next boxes? Something on win11 doesn't like it? I will give it a go soon, thanks for all. Owen
