Help with SVI 328 hardware

I know it's not exactly MSX, but this community probably knows more about it than any other, so I figured I'd ask here.

Today I opened up an SVI 328 (not working) and I found this:

I'm kind of blown away by it. The truly amazing part is that the screws all have that red paint on them completely intact. So either someone added it afterwards, or it came like this from the factory.

So on to the questions:

- On the right of the main board, there are two cables sticking out not connected to anything. From what I can see, there's supposed to be a crystal oscillator there. What gives? Is it supposed to be connected to one of the two crystal oscillators on the video board, or should I just put the correct one in there instead of the cable?

- What is up with the voltage regulators?? They're loose, running around and potentially shorting everything. They also seem to have a small board attached to them with a couple of capacitors, but the ones I see on other pictures on the internet are soldered directly to the board and screwed on to the heat dissipator.

Thanks!

Look at this page: Spectravideo SVI-328 MKII.
Soon a video on SVI-328 repair?

Yeah, that and this one http://zonadepruebas.org/backup/web/hardware/microordenadore... were the only two pages where I found any images of that board.

I saw in the technical manual that the crystal oscillator is supposed to be 10.738 MHz, but it doesn't seem to be a frequency easy to find these days. Any idea of potential sources for it?

And yes, this was supposed to be a video. We'll see how far I get into it! Maybe it'll be a "failed repair" short video :-b

For crystal, I found
https://www.x-on.com.au/category/Crystals?Filter=true&Frequency=MTAuNzM4IE1oeg==|MTAuNzM4NjM1IE1oeg==
Sorry the link can not be correctly included in the post.

Thanks! I realized that searches suck and when I just typed 10.738 Mhz it wasn't returning anything, but if I searched for 10.73863 Mhz I found some hits closer to me :-) I got a couple and they're coming from the UK, so this won't be a video for this week, but in a week or two hopefully...
