Today I visited OmegaMSX with my MSX machines, and we found some non-standard stuff on my NMS-8280:

First of all this little PCB on top of the PCB:

This PCB could be found at the bottom:

With these connectors:

Which works out like this on the backside:

OmegaMSX thinks this might have been done for a "Kabelkrant" (No clue about the English Translation for this). It was done in quite a professional way.
Also another thing we ran into: Next to the FDD conenctors of the NMS-8250 there is some space where you can mount a connector to create a 3rd cartridgeslot :)

Wasnt this the "SVHS adjustment" you can read about in some magazines?

Could be. No clue actually. Never saw it myself and for omegamsx it was a first as well.

Aha, nice!
And this is indeed meant to be able to digitise and superimpose to and from the SVHS connectors?
Do you also know what the function is of the external switch?

BTW, I'm considering selling this NMS-8280 (only one non-working drive btw, for the rest the machine is fine) next weekend at the Nijmegen fair, since I will be using my NMS-8250 as my "daily" machine.
