NMS8245 Disk Drive problems

hi guys, i'm experiencing a problem with my NMS8245, it boots up, show MSX logo, then the drive begin to spin and nothing else, blue display and drive led powered up for ever. The disk drive works fine because i tested it already with another machine, then it is a mainboard problem but, which? Anybody here can give an help about? I don't know where to begin to check, thank you in advance.

Did you already try: COLOR 15,4,4?

Wasn't there a key to disable the disk drive on boot? SHIFT or CTRL, I don't remember which.

Does it work if you press that?

Keeping shift pressed while booting turns off both diskdrives and will go to basic in stead of disk basic. Worth a try.
Can you check if any cartridge game runs?
How is the computer under the hood? Is the battery still there? The 8245 one is a known leaker and might destroy your mainboard which might make the system unstable.

The drive works on another 8245 but doesn't works on this, it is an hardware problem, the drive loads nothing and freeze the machine, with fdd led always on

so the blue display you mention in the initial post has text printed on it, or does it show after you type the color command?
