I just read the message on the frontpage about the new Obsonet network interface. Personally I'm very happy with this kind of innovations. And I'm already dreaming of my own msx network and playing multiplayer games on msx :)

But to make such a project succesfull there must be written software for it ofcourse, do you think that will happen?

Better yet: there already - is - software out there Nestor has already sent e-mails to the MSX mailinglist using Obsonet. The Internestor development competition ILAC will also result in several new internet/network software titles for MSX ;)

Wow that is very good! But since there are several projects to develop MSX Ethernet cards is this the one that would likely become the "standard"?

ObsoNet is, as it's the first one that will become publicly available in reasonable quantities and as Sunrise are aiming to keep theire ethernet card compatible with ObsoNet.

Standarization is in my opinion very important and the key to success. Only then you can create a good base and the willingness of developers to create usefull software for it.

well the introduction is/was today! Hopefully someone will put more specs/software/reviews of it online soon. Also the first Obsonet cartridges must be sold right now there in Spain
