Hi , I need to change the melted belt on a panasonic msx2+....I have a 8245 belt it will fit?

You can try. The belt has to be 3mm wide and should not be too tight or too loose when installed.

I actually ordered few sets of different belts from Ali (flat ones and squared) and choose the proper side for different drives. They are quite cheap.

I do that too, but you have to carefully select the width and the size of the belt. Some drives are very sensitive to the belt's tension and material. The belt should not be too tight and should not slip.
