OpenMSX and VMWare

Observation: running openMSX in VMware workstation when the user profile is shared between the host and the client makes openMSX stop. It dumps in the log that it can't access the share where documents are stored. This share is open and reachable. It seems openMSX can't handle network shares when trying to write data.
