I use a SNES USB controller in openmsx on an Android tablet. I need a little help because the controller doesn’t work properly.

I tried different openmsx connectors:
(1) Multitouch and on-screen joystick. In this connector I’m not able to use left/right/up/down buttons. With the A, B... buttons I’m able to jump in a game.
(2) With the connector Gamepad 1 I’m able to use left/right/up/down buttons. But in this configuration the A,B.. buttons doesn’t work.

I tried "Device configuration" remap physical keys, with no luck.

How can I configure the controller correctly?

I'm sorry, I have no idea. Does the controller work properly with other Android games that are based on the commandergenius SDL port? (E.g. Commander Genius ;-))

In the Snes9x emulator (Android) I can bind, for example, A,B,X,Y buttons with G2, G3, G1, G4. Is this possible with openmsx, with (device configuration) remap functionality? How?

I never used that device configuration remap functionality. You can also look at this: https://www.msxinfo.net/files/openmsxarcade.JPG or the full conversation: https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/openmsx/need-a-little-hel...
