The latest update breaks compatibility with my PS/2 keyboard on the SX-2 (keyboard model: CHERRY RS 6000 USB ON (with ps/2 adapter)).
I guess it's a known issue but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

For now I reverted to 3.9 (by using a gamepad Wink )

OCM-PLD3.9.1 features a redesigned keyboard interface circuit.

Let me ask you a question.
Was your keyboard usable with OCM-PLD3.9?

I would like to distinguish whether this is a new problem with the new keyboard interface circuitry, or whether it is an existing problem.

In any case, there are other people suffering from keyboard problems and we are currently investigating the problem.
Unfortunately, all the keyboards that KdL and I own are functioning properly, making it difficult to reproduce the problem at our end.

We plan to reflect the countermeasure in the OCM-PLD keyboard interface as soon as we know how to do so.

Yes, the keyboard works fine on the SX-2 with OCM-PLD 3.9 (although I'd occasionally encounter a "stuck" key).
Since I have 2 models of the same keyboard I can send one if you'd like.

If you send it to us, it will be used for future testing. Wink
Please contact us by e-mail and we will let you know where to send it.

email sent. Smile

Since I also have a Zemmix Neo, I'll test on that as well. I did not try it yet.

It's curious because I didn't notice any problem with SD compatibility. Does it depends on Zemmix model or is only related to SD brand? I use Kingston and Trascend.

Thank you very much. Replied to.

I have SX-1mini+, SX-2, 1chipMSX, DE0CV+DEOCM at my place.
I am sending the source code developed at my place to KdL.
KdL owns aircraft that I don't have (Zemmix Neo, etc.) and they test that I don't have problems with them.

In OCM-PLD3.9.1, the IPL-ROM, the boot loader, has been newly redesigned.
For example, it now interprets the FAT file system and looks for the SD-BIOS file, rather than the first file written after the SD card format.

However, since the SD card drivers have also been reworked, some cards are now stable, while others are unstable.

We are currently working on countermeasures to solve this problem.

I tested the Zemmix Neo, no keyboard problems there after the update (same keyboard).

So far I did not encounter SD card issues either (Transcend 2GB SD card on Zemmix Neo, unbranded 8gb micro sd on SX-2)

The mounting method of the PS/2 terminals on the board of the 2nd generation machines (SM-X, SX-2) is different from that of the 1st generation machines.
The 1st generation models are better mounted.

Although the PS/2 terminal is a digital signal, we believe that the signal is not obtained as expected due to factors as an analog circuit.
We do not think there is a direct problem with the "new PS/2 interface circuit" built in the FPGA, but we believe that some adjustment of the signal acquisition timing may improve the problem.
Since you say it worked with OCM-PLD3.9, there is hope for that.
