I was happy to help a little bit and I look forward very much to playing your full translation.
Anyway, the colour pallette bug is really weird because I played the game on several MSX models (real and emulation) and this never occured. Does it happen on your set-up with the original Japanese version as well?
I trust that you have indeed done a lot of research on how to translate/spell the names of historical figures, deities, locations and objects etc. in the game, but if you are in doubt, you could produce a list here and we could have a look together.
But probably, it's not necessary, as I 100% believe you have researched extremely well. As I said - only if you are in doubt about something.
I just want to help, and apologies if I come off a bit zealous. The XZR games are my Holy Grail/Holimax.
