MSX (2) only games

I stumbled on this wiki page.

It only mentions 5 games, but ofcourse there are more. Does such a list excist anywhere? If not, I think it can be nice too create such a list.

For starters, I can name a few (konamis):
SD Snatcher
Metal Gear Solid Snake (not counting the emulated version on metal gear solid 3 subsistance)
Firebird
kings valley 1 and 2

okay, thanks, but this list is not reliable! I see many titles that are definitly not msx only like fantasy zone 2, Maison Ikkoku, r-type, sorcerian, snatcher to name some.

I think ro misunderstood the question because he pasted a link to all MSX2 games. GenMSX doesn't have an option to identify msx only games (yet) But there was already an old topic about it: https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/software/msx-exclusives-h...

ah, I see what you mean. Sorry to be confusing. But, hell, that's what I've been advertising for years.. Fuzzy Logic, confusion at its best. haha.

It's a weird category, since it includes only those titles that "are not available for purchase or download on other video game consoles or personal computers". So presumably anything that's ever been on one of those 32-bit era compilations, or on the Virtual Console, or commercially redistributed through any other emulated means, is unsuitable?

As a bit a msx I wondered why I could not find a list with msx only games, just like this list.

For example, Sd-Snatcher can only be found for MSX 2. There is not a NES, SNES, PS ect. version. So that one needs to be on the list.

Well that's hitting upon another Wikipedia issue with lists like that. Ordinarily you'd find the Wiki pages for MSX-only games, edit them, and add [[Category:MSX-only games]] to the bottom of the page. But SD Snatcher is just a topic within the page about Snatcher, so that wouldn't really be appropriate — Snatcher itself is not an MSX exclusive.
