Is there someone who can tell me more about this game?

It seems to be a homebrew Nemesis-like game. I never saw it before and I'm not even sure it's running on an MSX.

Ahhh the game seems to be written in Java. It's called GR3. Too bad!

Indeed my friend. It's MSX-inspired, unfortunately not really running on the hardware. Smile
Another example of it is "Volcabamba":

I find it weird to go through all this trouble to create a game that is limited to what the MSX could do, but don't actually develop it on an MSX... If you want PC users to be able to play your game, there are plenty of emulators... Eek!

My guess is that it, under some circumstances, it may be even easier to create a Konami quality MSX-like game on PC than actually doing it on MSX.
Not having to learn MSX Assembly, for instance, but just doing it in Java or in C, or in some pre-concocted environment is probably a big plus. Wink

I don't know about you, but even just looking at MSX Assembly makes my head hurt. Pop, Push, WHAT?!?!?

LOL!

(I know I'm just being ignorant - just too st00pid to understand Assembly)

GR3 or the final version of it GR rebirth is indeed a very cool game and the story first in with the MSX storyline and timeline. Like La Mulana it would be very awesome if one day we would be able to play GR3 on an MSX. The game is phenomenal.
