Beware that he achieves 4 FPS @ 6MHz ! All GIFs and videos presented on the page are made with the 15MHz mode ...

Well, anything depends on the complexity of rooms (i.e. number of lines traced on the screen) Consider also that the TI has a character based display to be accessed as on msx1 (at least the drawing part on msx2 could be in HW)

Face it people. True 3D on MSX (1,2,2+,Turbo R) will never happen. At least not at a normal framerate.

Just give it a try with the GFX9000 in combination with a nice boosted Turbo R or something.

With a Turbo R it should be fine also without gfx9000 R800 > z80 @ 15MHz (or not?)
