Hi,

Today i created a group inside HD-Menu....Een function i discovered today in HDmenu.

In this group i added some programs to make things easyer. But for some programs i'm unable to create
items..this because the (dos)path is to long and therefor the item is not started after a dubble mouse click.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue? and maybe .. someone know if there is a good file manager, where you can copy files
etc. using the mouse ?

Thanks,

If my memory serves me well, I think that Multi Mente has support for mouse.

I was looking in the multi mente config but was not able to find it.

About File managers..

-I think hd-menu is very user frendly (and .. fast in use) but file copy is a crime to do.
-Others like WIOS can handle file copy .. looks nice but is very .. very slow!! (even on a turbo-r .. and not user frendly .. (try to select files).. pfff (but it is multi tasking)
-Multi Mente is nice but FAT16 is not supported.
-M is one of my favorites, but there is no mouse support.. but i like the progress bar ..
-Windows 98 looks nice .. but again .. no possiblity for file copying ..

Are there more, the best one ?
i'm little lazy to use the dos prompt Wink

There is a patch for multi mente that allows use of fat16

indeed.. you cannot copy files
Maybe we have to develop a new one. Like HD-Menu .. fast .. and easy to use Wink

id rather go for PLR with fat16 support or better even XCC with fat16 support (and a working deltree)
