The complete text is visible in plain text, if you use a HEX editor
it is easy to translate it to English,
It only takes some time.

I had a look with a hex editor, but I can only see some texts. For example, when you boot the game a setup screen opens to adjust the screen. The shown text here can't be found as plain text in the hexeditor.
And the first playable screen says "U bevindt zich op straat". This text can't be found with a hexedtior either. (to name some).

I believe all texts are there (except for a few graphical ones). Please note that all characters are shifted x positions so that lowercase letters appear as uppercase and uppercase appears as junk characters in a hex editor.

Interesting. Do you know if that is a official French version, or a user contributed translation?
GenMSX only has the Dutch version listed.

TheKid, it's really there:

000039BC  00 00 00 00 04 50 49 43 31 01 19 D5 20 42 45 56 49 4E 44 54 .....PIC1... BEVINDT
000039D0  20 5A 49 43 48 20 4F 50 20 53 54 52 41 41 54 2E 00 00 01 04  ZICH OP STRAAT.....

But without the U. Not sure why that is... Ah, it's because of what Hrothgar said. The U here is there, the 0xD5... so, shifted indeed.

"U" = 55h in ASCII code
D5h = 55h + 80h (bit7 to 1)

The first character has the bit7 set. It must make sense. Try with bit 7 to 0 to see what this gives.

@Manuel: Strange, I've tried several hexeditors, even an online one, and they all couldn't find this text??

Try with ExEdit! The text is in the file "ZOO.PRG" at 021C7h.

If you give all translated texts here I can integrate these for you. I think this should take a few minutes.
